Dale Riedl Design Studio

DRD Studio is a full service architecture and design firm, working in the New York area, and specializing in custom residential construction and interiors. Started in 2014, Dale Riedl founded the firm to provide elegant design solutions to satisfy our clients’ unique lifestyles. Dale listen‘s carefully to client needs, consider every detail, and work diligently to achieve a collective design vision.

Dale Riedl started his career in residential architecture at the firms of Hacin & Associates and Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership. He went on to practice for ten years at Beyer Blinder Belle, where he serviced many institutional clients, including Princeton University and Dartmouth College. While at BBB, he was afforded opportunities in campus planning, and worked alongside firms including Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Steven Holl Architects, and the landscape firm Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates to realize building sites and design campus neighborhoods. The diverse scope and wide breadth of Dale’s career allow him to approach each project with an understanding of both context and detail, external demands and client desires, function and design, and to maintain the balance of these elements and relationships necessary for a successful execution.

Dale has a Master’s in Architecture from Harvard University and a BA with a Major in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. He currently resides in New York City and East Hampton, New York.
